Located 7.7 billion light years away from the Milky Way, Osho is a distant elliptical galaxy that is one of the strongest sources of FTL transmissions in the observable Universe. It is situated within the Osho Cluster, a group of smaller elliptical and irregular galaxies.

Although the galaxy is out-of-reach with current Wormhole Drive technology, two missions are being designed to explore the galaxy within the next ten thousand years. The transmissions recieved by the Confederacy of Humanity indicate a civilisation similar to Humans with intentions to negotiate peace treaties with more distant intergalactic civilisations.

The galaxy is estimated to contain over 20 trillion stars, most of them old and ancient and many of them rich in metals.
